Watery Commons – exploring the Roding River to Creekside and along the Thames to Beckton

Inspiral conduct their first public walk since lockdown, on Sunday August 9^th.

InspiralLondon team and associates continue watery explorations along and beside the rivers and waterways of the Thames Valley – walking and on the ground mapping of the Roding River, the Creekside and along the Thames at Beckton. Unless otherwise stated we will meet outside Barking Station (on the high street) at 11 am on Sunday 9^th August.

Along the way we will be discussing and exploring, through walking, the watery ways that shape the city, while sharing other histories, such as Beckton Gas Works.

Please bring suitable clothes, walking shoes/boots and food for a picnic on the way.
