Meet 11 am at Barking Station Exit to walk down the Roding River Valley then detour into Beckton Creekside Nature Reserve.

This reverse segment of InspiralLondon Trail runs along the River Roding and then detours into the marshlands of water treatment to emerge into the strange uncanny world of the reveloped Gas Works. Beckton Gas Works was a wonder of the world and we will explore what remains and what we can reimagine from out of that other London.

This walk is part of InspiralLondon’s on the ground mapping of the Thames Valley water system within Metropolitan zone.
