Re-Walking Segment 10 Inspiral: Hammersmith toward Herne Hill along the Wandle

On Bank Monday May 6 from 2 – 6pm

Join us for a re-walking Segment 10 from Hammersmith Bridge North side (near the Riverside Studios) to walk along the south side of the Thames towards the Wandle River and on across South London to Brockwell Park, Herne Hill. This walk will be animated by interventions by InspiralLondon associate artists Rachel Gomme, and Gail Dickerson. Including a geological exploration of the Wandle River as it reaches the Thames at Wandsworth (Inspired by Gail’s researches). Alongside the opportunity to examine and celebrate a variety of street trees with Rachel. A chance to pay attention to these often overlooked companions in our streets, considering how they are living, their importance to the life of the city and how we can support and champion them.
