Join Inspiral artists and Charlie Fox director for RE/Walk on Segment 33 – Epsom to Kenley.
July 6 Sunday walking 11am-5pm. This walks is approx. 10 miles. Please bring picnic and wear suitable walking shoes for various terrain as we start our final spiral out to Gravesend, leaving the city and walking out into the edgelands of north kent. This is an interesting leg of walk, starting from Epsom Station and skirting the edge of the old site of West Park Asylum Hospital, before heading directly eastwards to Woodmansterne, toward Coulsden Town and out to Kenley. InspiralLondon’s Re/Walk Festival – Excavate, Explore, Exchange – Celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the Trail with a festival of seven unique walks that take you to other hidden and less well-known parts of the city; detouring from the trail, in exploring underexplored, buried aspects of the city or walking together by night.
We wish to share the magic and multiplicity of the city with all its diverse inhabitants, and to get you walking; to explore the city with renewed curiosity, by excavating the other buried narratives and histories that make London so unique. Together, wel re/walk and re/make the city by foot.
