SUMMARY:Re/Walk Segment 33 - Thames Ditton to Epsom
DESCRIPTION:Re/Walk Segment 33 has been postponed to later in Summer (July date tbc) – from Thames Ditton to Epsom. \nTaking a longish walk from the western edge of the city\, out through Surrey\, towards the north downs of Kent.  Starting near the Thames River\, we walk gently towards Hogsmill Brook\, a tributary of the River as we reach Epsom out on the edge of the Epsom Downs. \nThis walk is approx. 8 miles\, please bring refreshments or light picnic. \nInspiralLondon’s Re/Walk Festival – Excavate\, Explore\, Exchange – Celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the Trail with a festival of seven unique walks that take you to other hidden and less well-known parts of the city; detouring from the trail\, in exploring underexplored\, buried aspects of the city or walking together by night. \nWe wish to share the magic and multiplicity of the city with all its diverse inhabitants\, and to get you walking; to explore the city with renewed curiosity\, by excavating the other buried narratives and histories that make London so unique. Together\, we re/walk and re/make the city by foot. \nRe/walk is generously supported by tfl WCGL grant\, the Royal Borough of Greenwich and other walking/artist group partners such as Kinetika\, T-100 and soundcamp. \n
