Join us to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of InspiralLondon Trail (May 2025-Aug 2025) & Songlines for Greenwich BH365 celebrations (May 2025 – July 2025) \nFollow the collection of walks HERE \nRe/Walk Festival – Excavate\, Explore\, Exchange – Celebrates the 10th Anniversary of InspiralLondon Trail with a festival of seven plus seven\, unique walks as participatory experiences. As we near the trails 10th anniversary InspiralLondon invites new communities\, individuals\, and groups to re-discover their city through this unique inspiralling walk. During 2024 and into Summer 2025\, we will re-walk\, and re-tell\, the story of this 300 mile trail as we re-spiral through London. \nRe-walking InspiralLondon is a walking adventure that offers Londoners opportunities to join short walks\, walking workshops and to participate in exploring the unexpected landscapes opened up through the inspirallondon trail. Walking together so we can share in the wonder and variety of the Metropole\, and to be more aware of ourselves and others\, in celebrating all the diverse life that inhabits the city. \nIn 2025 this shared story\, made from rewalking together\, and with new inspirallondon adventurers\, will culminate in a festival of walking and in the final Re-Walking London publication as an alternative guide to walking in and through the city (scheduled Spring 2026). This walk and guide co-created from the collective imagination and overlapping stories of all Londoners. \n \nInspiralLondon Rewalk is funded by tfl Walking and Cycling Grants for London (2024-2025) \n \nWe will be rewalking the trail over 2024-2025 with over 40 plus walks. Updated information on the schedule and how you can get involved.\n \nFor next cycle of Re-walking see June 2025 schedule. \nA number of short linked walks offer a magical unexpected taster and opening to the majesty and scope of the trail – for example Four linked walks for Retellings on 12th July – yas we re-walk together through 2024-2025\, in conversation with the ever changing cityscape of London. \nYou can visit our map to get inspired and see where the trail passes. \n \n

SUMMARY:Mountains of Hope - Crossing Marseille with Mary Magdalene -Part 2
DESCRIPTION:Mountains of Hope – crossing Marseille with Mary Magdalene \n(Stage 8 sur les traces de Marie-Madeleine 10am -6pm) \nThe pilgrimage continues along the mountainside from the edge of South Marseille as the valley reaches towards the Cave of Mary Magdalene\, or tracing a trail\, much as the first pilgims would have\, by following the river Huveaune upriver towards its source. \nOn the day we will make a loop up the mountainside and back down via the river. \nThis walk is a solidarity walk as pilgrimage – as a part of Mountains of Hope – a global invitation to walk in solidarity with communities along the Lebanon Mountain Trail between 3 April – 3 May. Mountains of Hope is a collaboration between the Lebanon Mountain Trail Association (LMTA) and Kinetika (UK)\, alongside multiple participants. \nAn alternative walk for the day – weather and transport permitting – planned for a walk through the Forest of Lebanon Cedar Trees – planted from seed in 1861 on the Luberon Hills – this experiemt in reforestation remains a remarkable example of foresight and care. It will follow one of the official trails through the forest. \nThe trail traces a pilgrimage path in peaceful reflection and solidarity with walkers and inhabitants of Lebanon’s mountains. You can catch us above the Huveaune  or follow us via instagram on the day.
