Together\, we will re/walk and re/make the city by foot. \nRe/walk is generously supported by tfl WCGL grant\, the Royal Borough of Greenwich and other walking group partners such as Kinetika T-100\, Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park\, Walking Artist Network and soundcamp \n  \n  \n \n(Re: Walking InspiralLondon 2024-2025 – taking time to contemplate the variety and beauty of cityscape)\nRe-walking InspiralLondon Trail 2024-2026.\nIn 2015 an intrepid group of walking artists finished mapping a new spiral trail\, tracing a pathway through 30 London Boroughs. As we near the trails 10th anniversary InspiralLondon invites new communities\, individuals\, and groups to re-discover their city through this unique inspiralling walk. During 2024 and into Summer 2025\, we will re-walk\, and re-tell\, the story of this 300 mile trail as we re-spiral through London. \nRe-walking InspiralLondon is a walking adventure that offers Londoners opportunities to join short walks\, walking workshops and to participate in exploring the unexpected landscapes opened up through the inspirallondon trail. Walking together so we can share in the wonder and variety of the Metropole\, and to be more aware of ourselves and others\, in celebrating all the diverse life that inhabits the city. \nIn 2025 this shared story\, made from rewalking together\, and with new inspirallondon adventurers\, will culminate in a festival of walking and in the final Re-Walking London publication as an alternative guide to walking in and through the city (scheduled Spring 2026). This walk and guide co-created from the collective imagination and overlapping stories of all Londoners. \n \nInspiralLondon Rewalk is funded by tfl Walking and Cycling Grants for London (2024-2025) \n \nWe will be rewalking the trail over 2024-2025 with over 40 plus walks. Updated information on the schedule and how you can get involved.\n \nFor next cycle of Re-walking see June 2025 schedule. \nA number of short linked walks offer a magical unexpected taster and opening to the majesty and scope of the trail – for example Four linked walks for Retellings on 12th July – yas we re-walk together through 2024-2025\, in conversation with the ever changing cityscape of London. \nYou can visit our map to get inspired and see where the trail passes. \n \n

SUMMARY:Peck as sanctuary\, Peck as source
DESCRIPTION:Peck as sanctuary\, Peck as source offers a walking and musical promenade to discover and explore the river Peck and its sources. For this welcome all walk\, we feel our way along the River Peck from its appearance at the edge of Peckham Rye as it flows down across the Common toward Rye Lane.\nThis animated musical walk is led by experienced guide and local artist Rachel Gomme (with support of InspiralLondon associates and Living Stream Project). We will walk together\, to celebrate rivers as sanctuaries and places of peaceful co-existence\,  where we can meet the sanctuary and source\, share in watersong and finally picnic by the shady banks of the hidden river Peck.\n\n\nThis project is a collaboration with Living Streams Connect\, with SDCAS (Southwark Day Centre for Refugees and those seeking Asylum) and local artists including Rachel Gomme and Charlie Fox.\n\nSDCAS offers a range of services to promote general wellbeing\, health and education among asylum seekers\, refugees and migrants in South London. Our day centres provide friendly environments for socialising. To support the charities work find out more HERE.\n\nBooking from 1 June 2026 HERE – suggested donation £5/10\n\n\n\n\nLiving Streams Connect creates an original\, musical composition inspired by natural water sounds\, ecology and migration. Created with award-winning musicians and talented migrants. Living Streams Connect is a new project led by composer Isa Suarez\, alongside musicians and composers Arowah\, Beibei Wang and Rihab Azar\, who together form the Living Streams Ensemble. \nConnecting themes of climate justice and human migration\, the project draws on the musicality of world-wide water streams and brings people together through creative collaboration\, supporting well-being\, unity and connection through collective music-making and performance.
